Since my quilt frame doesn't truly have a 'long arm' sewing machine, sometimes it is a challenge to try a design on a quilt. This quilt is my friend Debbie's, she called it 'Sevens and L's'. The pattern was one that let me work a stitch line that worked for my 4-6 inch throat opening.
Debbie had won a fat quarter stack at her guild, and chose this quilt.
Her background fabric is perfect, and one of my favorites!
"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful." Hebrews 10:23
It is really beautiful. Nice quilting too!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty quilting on a very pretty quilt!
ReplyDeletePerfect quilting for a perfect quilt.
ReplyDeleteI like the modern look of that quilt. Another great idea for me to consider for using my new fat quarters. I am stymied by what I'll use as a background, though.........haven't worked that one out yet. But, I just moved my cutting table back into the dining room, so I'm one step closer to sewing SOMETHING ! I also just ate two bowls of soup, so I think I'll just sit and browse blogs for awhile if I don't nod off ! LOL !
ReplyDeleteHave a great day,Pokey !
