Barb Davis, Inspiration!

My MIL, aka Mom, has talent that flows from her fingertips. She never fails to make me want to do more! She knows my love for doilies and laces, this is one that she gave me, of three she brought as gifts. She is crocheting as I type!

Lydia has benefited from Grandma's knowledge, too. She was crocheting edges onto pillowcases, but Grandma gave her some direction that was very helpful.

We are blessed to have such creativity in our home. Wonder if they would just move in, forget Nebraska. . . no, way!

Oh, well, we'll enjoy them while they are here!

I'm hoping to load a quilt top while they are here. Papa said he'd like to try some of that stippling.

Happy Quilting!
Pokey

  1. Those are gorgeous! I have to admit though DH knows more about crocheting then I do! His grandma showed all her grandkids, and no one in my family does it.

  5. Beautiful! I enjoy crocheting a little but I'm not very good at it. Basic stitches for me. Isn't it fun to have family around! It is so quiet when they leave.

  10. The pictures were so sweet. It is such a blessing to have family help in your home. It makes each spot homey. The floors are great. I know you will enjoy them. When you get lonesome just sit on the floor and remember the good times of putting it down! I do that in many spots of my home. Love ya all. Ginger
