Lists Help!

I have a quilting to do list, with about 4 MUSTS!!  This one is first up, and then you'll see others soon.

These embroidered squares belong to my "yo-yo" friend from church, Leanna. They needed to be squared up, but since they were printed on the fabric, it was a challenge...I did my best.  Finally, "Pokey" went to work to get them sewn into a quilt top!

 
 starched, ironed and squared

 strips cut and added


 sewn into columns, then rows
 an extra square quartered to be cornerstones. 
I think I'll add one more small border so they will float ~



Next up, I need to wrangle with the quilt frame on a few projects, here's hoping it will be cooperative ~


 

 Oh, and here's the cakestand blocks for this week. 
 I'm up to 19 completed, big grins!

    Love your fabric choices for your adorable cake stand blocks......nicely done :0)!

    Oh boy the embroidery looks like a million bucks in the setting you have chosen......it is gonna be a beauty.

    I really, really like the blue embroidered quilt. It is so lovely. And your cake stands look nice a patriotic, just up my alley!

    I love the fabrics that you added to those blue embroidered squares. That is going to make a GORGEOUS quilt.

    I also really like the little cakestand blocks. I have been wanting to do a few of those too. They are so pretty in the fabrics you chose.

    I don't know who picked the fabric to set the squares together, they did a fabulous job of it, don't believe it could have been matched better. I hope you use the same fabric in the next border you add. Cake stand blocks are going to make a pretty quilt,I like the pot a dot fabric.

    LOVE the cross-stitch quilt! Perfect fabric to use with it! And good job on the cake stands too. I am definitely behind after traveling a week:)

    I know that MUST DO feeling. Ive been working like that all month....I figure surely with all the sewing activity thats been going on here I must be close to finishing some of the MUSTS!

    I sure know what you mean about quilts on a must-do list. I have three to finish: 1) for a quilt show; 2) for a wedding gift; 3) for a baby gift. But I see your graphic on the left side of your blog that says, "I quilt without obligation..." Is that really true?

    Been so busy at work and at home with company.....that I haven't been by to visit any blogs for the past few weeks. Looks like you are really keeping yourself busy for the summer and accomplishing so much. I love the blue and white quilt and all the little cake stands, and and and. I don't think I've been in my sewing room (except to iron) for several weeks. You keep enjoying your summer and I'll look forward to Fall when things slow down at work again.

    Very nice job on the blue and white quilt. It's lovely. :-)
    As for the cake stands, that's a motivational skill I need to cultivate - biting off pieces of a project *consistently* in small bites till it gets done.

    I love those embroidered squares and how they look in a quilt. So elegant. I have a quilt frame too, still in the box, yet to be assembled. Some day. Lists are good. Can't wait to see your next projects.
