I Think I've Been Bitten ~

Yes, it's the inspiration bug that bit me.

I thought and thought about Tina's "Low Volume, Bright Hopes" block until I just had to try it.

Sophie added the information that explained the how to's (thank you, Sophie!)

I think it became an obsession (you know what I mean, don't you?) to try this one because I was so busy with school stuff (report cards again) that I could never find the time to just sit down and try it.

Easter break began on Good Friday before I could be sitting at the sewing machine.
I'm trying to show the 80 blocks in a stack, but I already had begun to sew....
looking down on the stack

one strip

then, another ~

 now, 4 rows!

There are now 2 flimsy tops, ready for the next baby gift needed ~

But, Wait! Lookie what hooked me in now:

Isn't it sweet?!? I think I need to try this one, also. Keep the inspiration bugs coming, I am enjoying this!

  14. I also get "inspired" but sometimes that inspiration just sits there for a long time. I have a file in my sewing room with "quilts I want to make". Eventually they hit the file of "quilts I HAVE to make". Some of them even get left behind. The other day I went to sew a backing together and could hardly find my sewing table. So I spent an hour just tossing out, folding up, trimming off, putting away and dreaming of my next quilt. Never did get the backing made. Maybe today. Your inspiration ended with a darling little quilt top.

How are those little houses coming along?

I can't wait to get my sewing room set up when I get home.
