Shucks, I didn't get to go to my quilt class tonight, bummer.
But, I did get to make some blocks for Block Lotto this month (I feel like a slacker, it has been several months since I last participated!).
Look how the "design wall" filled out this weekend! There are 5 rows of the "wiggly whimsy" together, but not assembled...
...or would you say, the rows are assembled, but not sewn together?
Are we all confused, lol?
If you are confused, maybe its because of suffering from the time change.
Oh, I really miss the sleep that one stolen hour brings! I think it is silly how much it affects some of us, but the kids came into class draggin', grumpy, tired, and complaining...or maybe that was just me :-}
Cute question was, "Mrs. Davis, just what did they do with the hour they took away?"
Oh well, in a week or so, we will all be back into the swing of things, right?
Until then, keep sewing!
"Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD He is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else." Deuteronomy 4:39
Luckily the computer and my phone and my clock on the wall all change automatically! Most the other clocks are still waiting for Ken to change them--and the alarm clocks--well--you can tell I have nowhere to go as they have the "old" time on them. Maybe they have that extra hour still stored there and I can use it later this week??
ReplyDeleteIt usually takes me a couple of weeks to get back in the swing of things. I love those rectangular blocks for your Block Lotto. They look like a lot of fun, and they have a lot of possibilities!
ReplyDeleteHi Pokey! I love your whiggly whimsy blocks/quilr. and your block lotto blocks! So good to see you're not a single woman anymore :-) Thanks for your very kind words encouraging me a few weeks back. I've been extremely busy with work and have no time to play or chat with my friends, so I don't believe I responded to you, even though in my heart I did. xo
ReplyDeletelove that comments kids say the cutest things
ReplyDeletegreat quilt on your design wall keep going1

Good morning! Nice to see that you are still making progress in spite of the lost hour of sleep! Wiggly whimsy looks like it is coming along nicely! I love how children give a whole new perspective on ordinary things...
ReplyDeleteYour wiggly whimsy strips look great! Now you're ahead of me! LOL
ReplyDeleteIf you;re wondering where that hour went that you Northern Hemipshere people lost , I do believe we are about to steal it to turn our clocks back down here in the Southern Hemisphere !
ReplyDeleteThe lost hour.I guess it went back to the fall. lol. Bless they're little hearts it has to be hard on them.I like the Block Lotto blocks.
ReplyDeleteLove your wiggly whimsy! That is really coming along and looks so fun to do. DST always gets everyone all messed up for a few days - especially in the spring. I can get up whenever I like (I am not an early bird) but I hate it when I sleep past 8:00 am. It has been 9:00 or later - but will eventually get back to between 7:30 and 8:00. Cute DST related pictures, Pokey.
ReplyDeleteI dislike Daylight Savings Time so much. It takes me weeks to get my body in agreement with the time change. Then it comes time to change again. Bummer! I agree with the kids, where does that hour go?
