We started today at 4:15 a.m. to get the folks off to the airport. It has been a wonderful visit the last couple of weeks, and our first shared Thanksgiving with them for (too) many years. I have only a bit of photos to share, hopefully more to come. These are all purely candid shots... as if you couldn't tell....
The last of the hand sewing. I'm so thankful to Mom!

ReplyDeleteLydia is beautiful. I love her curly hair and that DRESS is amazing. Looks like lots of happy people and fun. Now you deserve to sit and rest....at least a couple of days before the Christmas rush.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Pokey! I know you were as involved as a mom can be, and it looks like it was a beautiful wedding. I hope the holidays are enjoyable now. ReplyDeleteLoved the pictures. Beautiful wedding! Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteBesides the pictures of the beautiful bride, my favorite picture is the one of your mom hand sewing on the dress. It is an incredibly gorgeous dress and not only does Lydia have a beautiful reminder of her special day but she also has the joy of knowing how much love her mom and grandma put into making it for her.
ReplyDeleteDespite the tears, Lydia is a beautiful bride! Congratulations Pokey!
