Ginny's oldest son is getting married this weekend, and she has been piecing this quilt all summer for a gift.
She chose the
quilt pattern by
All Washed Up,
which suggests
finding a
large focal print
and build
around it.
This quilt is huge, 95" by 110"!
We went to M&L Fabrics, and Ginny chose colors from Natalie's fall choices. I think she did a great job.
I just pulled it off the frame Friday pm, and put the binding on over the weekend.
What? Doesn't everyone have a Nutella jar on their sewing machine desk?!? lol!
I did a scroll quilt design, free motion, and made a freestyle heart in each of the rust/red blocks.
BTW, Happy Cottage Quilter Jocelyn
had a great finish on this same pattern, go see it here.
I just pulled it off the frame Friday pm, and put the binding on over the weekend.
Happy Wedding Day, Paul and Natalie!
"How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust
under the shadow of Your wings." Psalm 36:7
