- Family and friends,
Harmony's name cut out and appliqued this month
- God's love and mercy, given often through our church family,
- cooking, and food to share,
Our yummy Apple Cake-see recipe at Suzanne's blog
- quilty sewing,
This is my friend Debbie's quilt. She took on the class challenge to make a quilt
with a panel, and the zigzag border. She aced it!
- creating more blocks,
These are 25 squares made with 2 strips, 2 1/2 inches wide.
I have 30 blocks done now ~ I'm thinking low volume,
but mostly they are light colored backgrounds, lol
- our car is back ~
I do enjoy counting the blessings of November!
"Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah." Psalm 68:19
Shortest post, ever. Hope you and Larry had a great Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great Thanksgiving holiday. The quilt is beautiful, she did a great job. Blocks also looking good, can't wait to see more.

You have been busy! I'm so glad you have your car back.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun I had reading and looking at this post. Your work continues to be inspiring!! Also looked up the Bundt Apple Cake recipe and hope to make it ...I have always used a fresh apple cake recipe when our apples are ripe from a church cook book and it is wonderful, but this will be a nice alternative. Thanks for sharing the link and yours looks delish too!!
ReplyDeleteWe used to have that pumpkin pie cake years ago. Loved it. Debbie's zig zag border is great. Is there going to be sashing between the 25-square blocks? Looks like it might be nice for a scrap quilt (which I'm always looking for more patterns). So glad you have your car back. It's been 3 months now and mine should (hah) be ready in another week. Love this time of year when there is so much time to reflect on family, friends and blessings.
ReplyDeleteNice summary of November, Pokey! Lovely things and lovely happenings. Hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving Day. Now it's on to Christmas! :-) Carol
