-1 can of whole berry cranberry sauce
and stir
a bit to break it up. Drop about 9 spoonfuls onto
the batter, and then slightly cover over the sauce with
the batter...really, the batter kinda goes over the
berries by itself while baking.
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Cool.
Drizzle with a thick glaze made from:
-1 T. melted butter -1 cup powdered sugar
-1 t. almond extract -1 T. hot water
Merry Christmas 2012!

Those wonderful mugs are multiplying. Great work on the mystery quilt!
ReplyDeleteThe mugs are looking good! Quite a few of them too! Your geese are looking good. Did you try making them using Bonnie's rulers? That's how I did them and I had no extra trimming that had to be done. You have some really cute greens there! I've copied your recipe and I think I'll give it a try. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThose mugs are just too darn cute!!!
ReplyDeleteThose mugs are great! And the stars are perfect. Love the mug rug!!
ReplyDeleteYour mugs are so impressive! You're quite the artist. I need to make a coffee cake tomorrow. Does your recipe work without the cranberry?

ReplyDeleteYou all are an artsy bunch with those cute mugs!
ReplyDeleteThat Triangulations paper was a lifesaver when I made a Bonnie Hunter quilt with loads of HSTs a couple years ago. I somehow found the size I needed online in a free PDF, but I bet that CD would sure be handy.
Merry Christmas Pokey and thank you for your lovely blog.
