Mumscupboard
Go see Fiona at Mum's Cupboard. She has a sale and a givaway, from the far away land of Tasmania! Who doesn't need more fabric?

Monica's Quilt and Bead Creations
On the Southern California Quilter's Run this summer, we visited one of our favorite shops in the desert, Monica's Quilt and Bead Creations in Palm Desert. This store has the best of both worlds; my daughter and I do both crafts (though Lydia's beading abilities are far superior to mine!!).
Monica has a great personality, she is always creating and sharing. The store has made their own "jelly rolls" and I seem to buy one every time we visit her place!
This summer, she gave everyone the basic fabric needed to create this little palm tree block, and I just finished mine into a shopping tote. Isn't it cute? I plan to carry it on the next weekend, when we visit Monica's place for the Reindeer Dash. If Southern California is local for you, come and join the fun!

Here in the world of everything new, for me, that is, I will try to add a photo of my half hexagon quilt, which I am trying to complete, or repair the little mistakes/unwanted pleats on the quilt back. Oh, the joys of trial and error. This will be the largest quilt I have ever made, and I am happy with it on the whole.
Aneela of Comfortstitching presented the half hexagon quilt-a-long on her blog and it inspired me to try it. So, two months later, I'm still working to complete it. Stay tuned I may show the errors.

Sew, what's this? Hm-m-m, I was just trying to answer a question. Let's see if I can spin one more plate in the air....
